Story
Hello there. I've decided to heave my 17-stone body on to a saddle and cycle 153 miles to raise some cash for a great cause.
My charity bike ride is in memory of my mum, who sadly passed away last year. Everyone misses her terribly.
I will cycle from the village in Oxfordshire where she was born to the village in Somerset where she lived for more than 35 years.
I aim to do the ride over two days starting on Saturday, March 31, going on a scenic route through Oxford to Reading and then alongside the Kennet & Avon canal to Somerset.
I want to raise money for Macmillian Cancer Support because they provided brilliant care for my mum and really helped the rest of the family in the final weeks of her life.
I know times are tough financially for everyone at the moment. But if you could spare any cash for this great cause it would be a fitting tribute to my mum.
