Scotland Cycle Challenge & 3 Peaks Challenge, 8 September 2021
Hospice UK is Deutsche Bank's UK Charity of the Year for 2020-21.

Story

The first part of this challenge is a 3 day cycle challenge in Scotland.  We start in Inverness and head west and take on the longest climb in the UK - Bealach na Ba, which is about 9km long and averages 7% gradient.  We then head to the Isle of Skye before returning along the River Ness and Loch Ness back to Inverness.  Later in September, I will take on the 3 peaks challenge.  This involves hiking the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis at 1,345m), England (Scafell Pike at 978m) and Wales (Snowdon at 1,085m) over the course of two days.

All of this is in aid of Hospice UK: We will be working together to transform hospice care and encourage more open conversations about death, dying and grief. Thank you very much for supporting Hospice UK. You are helping to ensure that hospices can continue to give vital time and care to around 200,000 adults and children with a terminal illness every year, alongside their loved ones.
