Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As part of our ongoing work with the homeless charity Centrepoint, Paul and Georgie are braving the winter cold to sleep out on the streets on Thursday 12 November in Spitalfields to raise money for the charity.
Over the past five years, hundreds of Centrepoint supporters have given up their bed for the night and taken part in the Sleep Out... and we will be joining them. So please sponsor us and help us give young people in London a future!
Some key facts and statistics:
Between 2006 and 2007, 75,000 young people experienced homelessness in the UK and two thirds were between the ages of 16 and 25.
Many of these young people gravitate to London which is why the majority of Centrepoint’s work is here.
Centrepoint helps around 100 young people a day in Soho...and 800 people across all of its hostels.
