Every year Children's Hospital Radiothon is held in the lobby of Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, broadcasting live on each of the seven Entercom Upstate stations: 106.3 WORD, ESPN Upstate, Classic Rock 101.1, 93.3 The Planet, Magic 98.9, B93.7, and 96.3 The Block. The 2019 Radiothon will be held August 8 and 9.Throughout the two days of Radiothon, on-air personalities share stories and interviews from patients and families who have been served by Prisma Health Children's Hospital-Upstate departments, programs and services. What do Radiothon funds support?Funds raised through Radiothon support special services for patients at Children's Hospital that enhance their experience and give them a sense of normalcy while they are in the hospital. Patewood Outpatient Surgery Center (POSC)

Patewood Outpatient Surgery Center is located on the second floor of Building 200A on the Patewood Medical Campus. POSC provides a convenient location for pediatric and adult outpatient surgery procedures in six operating rooms. The center also offers pediatric and adult gastrointestinal (GI) procedures in two rooms dedicated to GI procedures. The environment is welcoming and comfortable for both children and adults, with a playroom for entertaining our youngest patients.

This years Radiothon funds will support the updated/new games and devices that will be used in the playroom for our Children's Hospital patients. Items such as:

• 4 Riding push cars
• 8 Nintendo DS2s with 8 games
• 16 Screen Protectors
• 4 LeapPads with 8 games
