I am still pondering on why I do this to myself, but then again I think I should do my bit in this life to help a worthy cause. It’s a grain of sand in the vast sea, but every little helps as a supermarket slogan goes. I did my best last Sunday.
Why
this charity?
There are so many of them in this country and I admit you must get all weary of
the various charities your friends or families ask you to support. I
chose this charity on this occasion because it is a small one, not very well
known and works really hard with very limited resources. Also I have a
soft spot for the underdog.
Where’s my donation going? The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is dedicated to beating muscle-wasting conditions by finding treatments and cures and improving the lives of everyone affected by them. To find out where your money actually goes, here’s the link: http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/research
