On the 14th May I’m doing this challenge as a way of celebrating my 65th birthday but mostly to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society in memory of my dear Mum, Ruby.

I love coastal walking but have never done anything like this one, so this seems perfect. We will start from Corfe Castle, across to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, and then onto Weymouth, where we will finish. The route is 34km (20.5 miles). It will be tough, I know, but that is the point of the challenge.

I won’t be alone as I’ve roped in my daughters and sister to take on the challenge as well.
