Story
Hi there- a group of us who work at the Beaston West of Scotland Cancer centre have decided to put ourselves through hell for 1 day to raise as much as possible for can very special cancer charity. Below is a little bit of info about it- feel free to give me a shout if you want anymore information! Thanks
Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
We are a team of Beatson staff members who have joined together to raise money for the charity, Friends of the Beatson, in our attempt (slightly mad as it might be) at tough mudder!
Tough mudder is a hardcore 10-12 mile assault course designed by the British Special Forces to test our strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. The team will help drag each other through the mud and then overcome an array of crazy obstacles. (Including some minor electric shocks! ahhhh)
This is all in aid of the charity Friends of the Beatson, which is a service free of charge to inpatients attending for treatment at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer centre. It is there to provide a relaxing and therapeutic environment with complementary non-medical services designed to assist the wellbeing of patients.
