Story
I am planning to cycle the length of Britain to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity from September 6 -14 2014. I am cycling from Lands End in the south of England to John O'Groats in the north of Scotland and crossing Wales on the way. The total distance via this scenic route is 970 miles (1550 kms) and the aim is to do this in 9 days. I am hoping for warm weather, a following wind and to finish.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. All the money raised will go to a really worthwhile charity.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals with the broadest range of dedicated, children’s healthcare specialists under one roof in the UK. The hospital’s pioneering research and treatment gives hope to children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions, from across the country and abroad.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity needs to raise money to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, provide vital up-to-date equipment and fund research into better treatments for the children. Your donation will help Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world class care for the patients and families in its care.
