Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Hearts and Balls Ventures Ltd gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

This year our school has made an effort to support the charity Hearts & Balls, having recently suffered a serious injury to one of our top 1^st XV players. The idea of doing a sponsored 10km run was received with a great deal of enthusiasm with a total number of 161 boys registering to take part in the Bupa Edinburgh 10k Run 2009 (all aged 15-19). We aim to raise a minimum of £10,000  and our top target is  £20,000 for “Hearts & Balls” and in the process dedicate our efforts to all the rugby players affected by such serious injuries. These injuries are very serious and by raising funds we intend to help theEdinburgh based charity to give aid to as many as possible. The support for the injured player has been tremendous and the number of boys signed up is a testament to their eagerness in supporting such a worthwhile cause.
