Story
Hello! Thanks for taking time to have a look at my fundraising page.
On the 4th February 2018, the world comes together to raise awareness, and show support for those affected by cancer.
I am lucky enough to have not been directly affected by cancer, but that's not to say that I never will. Every year there are around 164,000 cancer related deaths in the UK, and an estimated 9.6 million deaths worldwide, making it very likely that I, or someone close to me will lose their life to it.
Cancer Research UK is the worlds largest cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research. They rely heavily on donations and fundraising activities, and without the help from us would not be able to do the work they are today.
This is why I have decided to take one for the team as part of Barrington James, by having my beloved hair shaved off to raise as much money as possible. For those of you that know me, you'll hopefully understand that this decision hasn't been the easiest. The work that CRUK do on a daily basis trumps all of my vanities, so I hope that you too can show support by donating any amount of money. Small or large, it will be greatly appreciated!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
