Patrick's from Cape Wrath to Dover

From Cape Wrath to Dover · 1 May 2022
I am planning to walk the length of Great Britain this summer, starting at the NW tip of Scotland (Cape Wrath), hoping to reach Dover (the SE corner of England) several hundred miles away by the end of July.
This forms a sabbatical from my day-to-day responsibilities as an ordained minister in the Methodist Church, a period for my own re-creation and reflection. If you would like to walk alongside me virtually, please follow walkingcapewrathtodover.blogspot.com which I hope to update every few days along the way.
As I take lots of steps, I invite you to support the work of All We Can, standing alongside communities where change starts. Taking the next steps with them transform lives. For communities grappling with the devastating impact of Covid-19 and climate change, the next steps are possible – but not always easy.
Through the work of All We Can, you can help communities in Zimbabwe take their next steps towards resilience and recovery from the devastating impacts of Covid-19 on lives, livelihoods, and local economies.
Will you walk alongside them, step by step by donating through JustGiving, which is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
All We Can is an international development and relief organisation, working to see every person’s potential fulfilled. Focused on serving the world’s most marginalised communities, All We Can is rooted in the Christian faith and has served some of the most marginalised communities on earth for the last eight decades. It has developed a reputation for doing development differently – pioneering sustainable, locally-owned solutions in response to John Wesley’s call to:
‘Do all the good you can,
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
in all the places you can,
at all the times you can,
to all the people you can,
as long as ever you can.’
