Anyone who knows me also knows that I waste no opportunity to tell the world about my various ailments and infirmities. Those infirmities are about to be put to the most punishing test I could imagine.

Will I whinge like hell afterwards? Of course I will. But I'll whinge in the knowledge that some people go through what I've just been through every night of their lives, and I'll probably stop whingeing after a month or two.
