Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year in memory of our friend Beverley Winfield, who had passed away after suffering for a long time with cancer the team above entered in the First Willow foundation 10k run. You can see me crossing the line looking rather in a poor state in the 2nd photo above.

It is now that time of year again and we have agreed to try again.  My training this year has not been as good as last year so i am sure that it will be hard work meaning that each penny will be hard earned.

 

We chose to run and raise funds for the Willow foundation because Bev and her family benefited from the work that they do.

They provided funds to enable for Bev her husband Mark and their two children Bradley and Hannah to have some great days out whilst she was ill.  These gave them some lighter moments in dark times and some happy memories.
