I am running the New York Marathon this Autumn, as I was fortunate enough to secure a spot in the event via the ballot process. This will be my 8th marathon overall and my 2nd in the USA. 

I have chosen to raise funds for the Bradley Lowery Foundation, which was set up in memory of the late Bradley Lowery, who tragically passed away at the age of 6 from a rare type of cancer called Neuroblastoma. His story was shared in the national and global media in 2016 and 2017. The foundation helps raise funds for the medical treatment and research of all different types of childhood cancers. 

Being a father to two young children (6 & 2), this is something that really hits a nerve and being able to support children with rare illnesses, get the treatment they deserve to have a childhood and long, prosperous life is the bare minimum I can do.
