The Road to RHC represents the journey that 500 children from across Scotland make every day for life-changing care at the children's hospital in Glasgow.
My daughter Amélia was once one of those children. In August 2018 she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). Three years on, she is now a happy, healthy 5-year-old with her treatment 12 months behind her. It is difficult to express our sheer admiration and gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, carers and support staff at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, who have been at our side every step of the way since we returned to the UK.
I am joining those hospital heroes to ride this August and raise money to make sure they are there for the next family that needs them!
