Hi Guys!

Thank you for visiting my page, i promise I will be brief!

In March next year, myself and another 10 crazy girls will embark on a mission: to cycle the arctic on a fat bike! It will be about 200km and we will encounter temperatures around -30!

Why? Because we want to raise awareness to climate change and at the same time raise funds for UN Women UK. Their projects help vulnerable communities to became climate resilient.

In poor communities, women normally are the ones that work in the fields and when there is too much rain or no rain they loose their crops and their livelihoods. The UN programme help these communities by providing loans to start a new business, teaching them a new skill and helping them to diversify their crops. In this manner they dont relly only on one income.

I don't need to say how many people are now already suffering the effects of Climate change and the numbers are only going to increase so it is essential that we unite and help those less fortunate.

After all , they did not cause Climate Change, we the privileged did.
