Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The last 3 years I have started to walk ... to keep my physically & mentally fit! It was needed during the lock downs to be honest.
And to help me keep going during those cold & wet winter months I decided to set myself a target. And what better to do a very long & challenging walk to raise money for cancer support?
My dad passed away in 2015 after struggling with lung cancer for just over a year. He lived in Holland and they had good support throughout.
My sister has been battling cancer for many years now. She is cancer-free but due to problems with removing a brain tumor it's very difficult for her to walk nowadays. So I will do the walking for her!
If you can donate then I would love you to give a little to the wonderful work that Marie Curie nurses do - both for people with cancer, but also for their family who needs the practical & emotional support too.
And yes ... that's me last summer when I had just walked 42km in the South Downs conquering the Seven Sisters. A minute later I was crying my eyes out because it had been one of the hardest & most beautiful challenges of my life.
So now I am back for 2022 ... going for a 35km challenge along the Jurassic Coast from Corfe Castle to Weymouth on Saturday 14 May.
THANK YOU!!!
