As I'm sure you all know, my husband Owen Breen - Maria's Dad - died last June, 11 days after suffering a stroke.  In the course of those days, we got a lot of help and support from information that the Stroke Association provided on the hospital ward and from their website.  They do amazing work with people and families who have been affected by stroke, and also in stroke prevention.
