My Dad had Alzheimer’s. He was diagnosed in his late 60’s. It was a very frightening time but for the Alzheimer’s society who were there with advice, support and kindness. There were many times over the ten years my Dad and his wife had need of these things in the shape of clubs, respite , someone at the end of a phone. It’s important to know you are not alone and that there is a community around you. This is why I have decided to raise funds of the Alzheimer’s society. I want to say thank you to them for being there and to help them to continue to be there.
