When I spoke to NHS staff in Manchester and London, I realised that our hospitals simply cannot function without frontline staff, such as cleaners, porters, security, and general maintenance workers, to name a few. They are the unsung heroes we’ve got to support in any way we can.    

I’m raising money for Hillingdon Hospital Charity, which supports two hospitals with 3,500 staff, and Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, with ten hospitals across Greater Manchester and Trafford and more than 25,000 staff.

In order to do this, I decided to partner with Lineage Logistics, the innovative provider of temperature-controlled food logistics, which is stepping up to kick off its “Share a Meal” campaign in the U.K. Together, Lineage and I will match every pound donated, up to £250,000, with the goal of raising £500,000 to provide meals and support for frontline workers.
