Story

On Christmas Eve 2010 my son Eamonn died in his sleep as a result of a diabetic coma, he was 36 years old.  Eamonn had been diagnosed just over a year before with Type 1 diabetes, having never had any previous illnesses.

Diabetes UK, Northern Ireland, works to care for, connect with and campaign on behalf of the 75,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland and their families and friends.

In Eamonn's memory I have nominated Diabetes UK Northern Ireland as my chosen charity for my President's Day on 7th September in Dungannon Golf Club.  On the day there will be an opportunity for competitors to win a car for a hole in one kindly sponsored by The Donnelly Group.  On the night there will be a charity raffle with a range of prizes.  All money raised will be donated to the Northern Ireland branch of Diabetes UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.

On behalf of myself and my family I would like to thank you in advance for any donations to this great charity.
