Story
My name is Patrick George and I am fundraising for World Villages for Children and The Sisters of Mary to help change the world one student at a time. For 60 years this organization has rescued and transformed the lives of more than 150,000 of the world's poorest children from the most desperate situations in 14 schools across seven countries around the world. Our mission is to help make a difference for children our age and to help provide them a safe place to live, food, education, and an amazing opportunity.
- $20 provides housing for 1 child for a month
- $65 will clothe 1 child for a year
- $125 will provide everything 1 student needs
for a month - $1,496 fully supports a child for a year
Fr. Dan is continuing the work that Fr. Al began and supporting the Sisters of Mary and the children at the schools. At these live-in schools, the Sisters of Mary educate and care for more than 20,000 children living in extreme poverty. The Sisters provide food, a safe place to live, clothing, education, including art, music and sport opportunities, vocational training, and motherly care for 365 days a year. The motto of the Sisters of Mary is ‘Let us serve the Lord with joy!’ and this is evident by the joy on the student’s faces.
The graduates are the success stories and a true testament to the impact of the World Villages for Children program. These students have become teachers, nurses, doctors, engineers, lawyers, architects, chemists, government officials, business managers, and more. When we educate one child, we help whole families.
Together we can spread awareness, raise funds, and lift them up in prayer. World Villages for Children gives students and their families hope. THANK YOU for your support!
