As part of the Corporate Challenge in aid of East Lancashire Hospice, eight team members will be taking on the mammoth challenge of cycling 127 miles along the Liverpool/Leeds canal.
On 24th June, Ashley, Jane, Matt, Shaun, Ruth, Kieran, Tom & Cameron will attempt to conquer the grueling ride that includes long flats, steep inclines and road cycling in less than 20 hours. The team really do have their work cut out as they try to master the multiple disciplines that this challenge has to offer.
They will be putting their bodies through the mill all in aid of The East Lancashire Hospice who provide many services for people and their families who are suffering with a terminal life limiting illnesses. These services include home care, holistic therapy and bereavement support. The hospice is required to raise £3.5 million each year to keep up their fantastic work and ensure that the service maintains its excellent standard.
