Story
Alfie was born at 26 weeks due to his mum having sepsis and appendicitis. When Alfie was born he was very small and poorly he required a lot of care which 3 different hospitals provided, but East Surrey stood out the most, they saved his life and went above and beyond to give him the care he required. When Alfie was born he didn't breathe for 11 minutes, and all the doctors and nurses went above and beyond to fight for him which we are enternially grateful for. Alfie was in hospital for 14 weeks and required around the clock care which he received at East Surrey. Even now Alfie has 13 different specialists which all provide him the care he needs. Alfie still has a lot of battles ahead but its time we give back to the NICU unit who saved him. We want to raise as much money as possible to give back to the NICU so they can provide the best care for these babies that are struggling. We are paying for our skydive ourself so every penny of money raised is going all to the hospital in name of Alfie to show our appreciation and show we are thankful to every single one of the nurses and doctors for all the battles that helped us fight with Alfie because if it wasn't for them he wouldn't be here now. Not only does this amazing unit support and save the babies but the support the nurses provide for the families is amazing. We want to make a contribution to the NICU to make sure they have all the equipment and resources they need to continue with there amazing work and they can carry supporting the babies and saving there lives. and caring for them all
