Sam, Lucy and I are taking on a mud obstacle race in October! We all fancied a challenge and before we knew it, we'd put our names down for the Major Series.  

That was a few months ago, and now it has dawned on us that this is coming up pretty soon and we'd better start doing some "serious" training for it!  

Our chosen charity means a lot to Sam, as one of her best friends suffered the tragic loss of her young daughter Isabelle.

From Sam:

"Izzy was a beautiful, strong, funny, courageous little girl who was taken from her family far too early. Izzy never let her illness get her down and stayed positive and smiling throughout her treatments. She was truly an inspirational beautiful little girl and is forever in our hearts.

"Demelza, a children's hospice, provided amazing support and care to Izzy and her family in her final days as they do with many children and we will always be grateful to them for this." 

Please dig deep and give whatever you can, no matter how small!

There will be plenty of blood, sweat and tears getting around this course. I'm sure there will be a few laughs too...muddy pictures to follow :-)
