Story
On 27 May, George and I will be participating in the PARAS’10 TAB, and Joey will be doing the PARAS’10 Run, to raise money for Help for Children (UK) as part of a wider team of volunteers across the Alternative Investment industry.
The PARAS’10 is an endurance race based on the ‘10 Mile March’ that originally formed part of the entrance test for Paratrooper recruits. Those opting for the TAB must complete the multi-terrain route whilst carrying a 35lbs backpack - the equivalent weight of a small child.
Help For Children raises much-needed funds to combat child maltreatment in multiple locations across the globe. Academic and social welfare experts from renowned universities and institutions provide consultation throughout the grant process. Funds raised in each HFC location are granted out locally within that community. HFC has a local impact with a global footprint.
