We are delighted to confirm that for a fifth year, we will once again be doing a Reverse Advent initiative, as a way of giving back to those less fortunate and in support of The Trussell Trust network of foodbanks.

Between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK wide network distributed over 2.1 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. This is an increase of 14% compared to the same period in 2019/20 and is expected to only increase as the cost of living crisis worsens.

As it has worked successfully in recent years, we have two options again this year: we’ll be asking everyone to make collections of non-perishable food at home and arrange to drop these off at a local drop-off point, or to consider making a financial donation.
