Why?

We want to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK as it is a cause that means a lot to me. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few years ago, it is therefore something that affects me directly and I’d want to raise money towards helping and supporting people who have this. 

What will we be doing? 

Me and my partner have a love for cars, specifically the original Fiat Panda. As I write this we own 7 of them between us, and when we toyed with the idea of raising money for charity we felt that we could make the cars a part of this. Our idea WAS to raise money in the run up to the Pandas to Pandino 2020 event. However, COVID happened and so we haven’t been able to do so. This didn’t stop us getting the car painted before hand though, and we now plan to get to Pandino in 2024.

We intend to do the run from South Wales to Pandino, Italy in my 1992 Fiat Panda Mania lovingly named Charmander, who has now been painted to look like a panda by ourselves using nothing but rattle cans! 

Further update : Following a few delays due to personal and car related reasons, we are excited to bring you the update that we will be doing Pandino in June of 2024. We plan to be joined by a number of friends from the UK in their Pandas, and will also be taking a more scenic route to take Charmander around Europe as part of our charity run. From Pandino to South Wales will be a journey of 2,000 miles alone and we are very excited to finally be doing this!

In preparation, Charmander is undergoing a fair amount of work to get him back on the road after a lay up following the purchase of our first house (that needed a LOT more work than anticipated) and we will bring you updates as they come.
