This is the first time I've tried anything quite so ambitious as this, but I'm looking forward to the challenge and it's a great way to get myself back into the habit of exercising.

• The Aspire Channel Swim is now in its 11th year and hopes to raise over £500,000 this year.
• It runs from 13th September to 5th December 2010. You need to complete 22 miles over the 12 weeks in a
pool of your choice.
