SOAS and City University Relief Society are fundraising throughout the year for The Fresh Start Project and aim to impact as many lives around the world!

Story

In a moment of madness, a group of friends decided to take on one of the highest peaks in the UK- Mt Snowdon . We will be walking with our comfy boots, waterproof trousers, sunnies and water bottle to hand. There are women in the world who walk for hours just to fetch water for their children  to survive. No care for their own security, just the need to stop their child from dying of starvation.

We are raising money for Who is Hussain, they assist in funding water facilities in Kinshasa, rehabilitation of street children in Mombasa and cataract operations to patients in Mbeya.

The aim of Who is Hussain is to inspire individuals through the timeless example of Hussain, and the values he stood for; those of compassion, justice and dignity.

Please donate to help change the life of a child, the lives of a family , a community, a region and in turn the world. It all starts from one person.

The conditions will be cold and wet but we will be #PamojaAfrica … Together for Africa! Please help the cause with your donations.

Taking place Summer'22
