Progress update

Training has recommenced following two to three weeks of relapse caused by a stinking cold and an excess of cake (and sausage rolls). Also vet visits and comfort eating due to my poor cat's lymphoma diagnosis and his subsequent chemo. Did you know that pets get the same drugs as humans? I just hope that research can help improve the experience humans have with chemo, because cats don't seem to get anything like the side effects that friends with cancer have experienced.

Anyway, my 5k time has increased by three whole minutes in the last few weeks. Not the direction I was after. Tut tut. Only a week to improve! Eek. And only a week to get my act together and raise some money. Even more eek.
