Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am part of a relay team of STC volunteers in Wales setting themselves the challenge of walking the 870 miles of the Wales coastal path as a lead up to our annual fundraising Christmas jumper day on the 11th Dec.

 The Covid19 pandemic has  affected millions of children worldwide many of whom are already crippled by war and disaster. Here, in Wales and throughout the UK, children and their families are suffering from severe economic hardship and deprivation. Our work in Wales and the UK focuses on children living in poverty.  This fundraising appeal is desperately needed to support them all.

My personal challenge is to walk a 25 mile section of the path- a daunting distance for me with my 74 year old creaking joints! I am one of those people who was never blessed in the sporty department, although I used to be an awesome tap dancer!

However, I am determined to succeed.
