I visited Princess Alice Hospice, Esher recently and was impressed by the care and kindness shown to the patients and families. It's an amazing place run by dedicated professionals and volunteers who are simply amazing. The atmosphere in the hospice was of calmness, caring and efficiency.The staff working that day were full of energy and eager to help. The visit made a lasting effect on me, resulting in wanting to help. The hospice relies on donations to continue its good work. My visit was to give a small donation in memory of Ron McAdam who died in January 2011. My golf club had a collection in memory of Ron who was a regular golfer at Hampton Golf Club (formally Amida Golf Club). A great guy who is missed by his family and friends. Please support my team "Never DeFEETed" as we walk the Midnight Walk so the hospice can continue its good work, caring for those who are in need at a sad time.
