Pam - on 19th April this year I took my good friend Rachel Stretch to hospital with a headache. 

The headache turned out to be a glioblastoma brain tumour which is aggressively eating her brain.  It will never be fully cured.  The causes are unknown.  The durations are unknown.   

Norman - Alan McIlroy diagnosed Jan 2013 Pancreatic Cancer, died June 2013 aged 54. 

If we get £1000 committed donations to Macmillan on here, then Pam will shave her hair off and Norman will shave his beard off (which he has had since the age of 18 and will risk his marriage!)
