As many of you know, I have been working as a Physiotherapist at Shooting Star Chase for the last 11 years. Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They are supported from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

I have taken on a number of challenges over the last few years to raise funds the charity. This year I am going to be walking the Great Wall of China, something that I am slightly anxious about due to my fear of heights. I have been training regularly in order to ensure that I am fit enough to cope with this grueling challenge, and know Boxhill like the back of my (slightly wrinkly) hand! I am fully funding the costs of the trip myself, so all donations will go directly to the charity.
