When the Notre-Dame was on fire, the world rallied together, and nearly €1bn was donated to rebuild that historic building. In 10 days. 

Palestine has been on fire for nearly over 70 years. And now it’s time to try as much. In 10 days, to raise less than 0.1% of that figure!

Lives are worth more than monuments. 

Palestine, and Gaza in particular has been subjected to unspeakable abuse for decades, and as much as governments have provided assistance, it has now fallen to the shoulders of the public to provide as much assistance as is possible. By making a donation you'll be able to contribute to the following for those most in need: 

£350 - Emergency food for 30 people.

£500 – Provide clean water to 33 people in Rafah, helping us to build a desalination plant that will provide 60,000 people with fresh water every day.

£1,000 – Provide emergency medicines for hospitals.

£6,000 – Rebuild and repair a damaged home in Gaza.

Rebuilding and repairing is the main target

On the 11th of May, rockets were fired at and demolished a residential building in the Al-Shati refugee camp. 

Air strikes also felled the Jawhara building in Gaza city. 

All of this has an economical, psychological and physical toll on the lives of the Palestinians. 

If the world can make donations for a historic monument within 10 days, there is hope yet that the world can provide an incredible amount of support within the same period for human life. 

The displacement needs to stop. 

The devastation needs to stop. 

The subjugation needs to stop. 

The illegal settlements need to stop.

It is intended to keep this going as a yearly effort, to combat the displacement that the Palestinian people have been placed under.
