Palestinians NEED your help.

This is a humanitarian appeal to provide urgent medical aid to preserve human life during one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent history. This is not a religious or political appeal. There are both Muslim and Christians living in Gaza. This is an appeal to provide urgent medical aid to save lives of injured civilians who otherwise have limited access to healthcare . 

Palestinians in Gaza are being continuously being bombarded with bombs, missiles and white phosphorous through out day and night. There are no shelters,  there is no safe place in Gaza. Civilians in Gaza cannot sleep out of fear of their homes being bombed. Caged in, they can only run from one explosion to another.  Innocent families have either been completely wiped out or have lost loved ones and many are unaccounted for. 

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a British NGO that work to improve the palestinian health care system by providing urgent medical supplies  develop the skills of healthcare workers, who are are under constant threat. MAP put all of your donations directly to providing urgent medical aid to those in great need.

In the last 72 hours, at least 180 Palestinians have lost their lives due to the recent attacks; more 50 were children.  Hundreds are unaccounted for, likely buried under the rubble of the decimated tower blocks they once called home. There are over over 1,000 people with serious injuries and the number is rising exponentially.  Roads have been destroyed, making it impossible to reach some of those injured. The healthcare services in palestine were depleted before these attacks and can only provide basic care. Hospitals and make shift clinics do not have the capacity or supplies to meet the needs of those with more life threatening or life changing injuries. 

Gaza has been under siege for years; isolated from the outside world, unable to trade, unable to source medicine or equipment. According to the UN, 95% of the water is not fit for human consumption. Frequent power cuts mean they are unable to preserve precious supplies. Doctors require basic medical equipment in order to keep those with treatable conditions alive. 

MAP provides a lifeline both now and in months to come when this becomes a distant memory for the majority of the world.
