We are former Royal Marines John Evans and Owen Leist. Back in October of 2017 we completed a non-stop relay from Lands End to John O’Groats, the event was an amazing experience and with the generous donations given we managed to raise £4000.
Well, we’ve thought of another challenge and we hope you will get behind us and spread the word so we can achieve what’s promising to be a gruelling event and also raise some money for our friends at the Royal Marines Association -The Royal Marines Charity.
On the 9th of November 2019, the two of us plan to tackle the UK’s 3 highest peaks, using only human power and taking no sleep. A truly nonstop effort of almost 450 Miles and more than 10,00o ft of climbing.
Summiting the peaks on foot and moving between each mountain on bicycle. We start at the base of Ben Nevis in Scotland and then will not stop as we head to Scafell Pike in England and onward again until we hit the peak of Snowdon in Wales and get back to the bottom, all under our own steam.
Nearly 450 miles of ground will be covered, and we estimate it’ll take 55-65 hours. No Sleep, digging deep!!
Any support and any donations will be gratefully recieved.
