Aggie Paints for Ukraine

Aggie Paints for Ukraine · 8 March 2022
Hello, my name is Aggie and I am 8 years old. I have painted these pictures to support Ukraine in their tough time right now.
I want to help Ukraine because I don’t like people suffering. People tell me I’m quite good at art, so I wanted to use my talent for good.
I am giving the money raised by this raffle to the DEC.
Thank you for your support.
UPDATE: The winners of the raffle are Zac Monksmith and Georgia Kooy-Henkel and Family.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated. We were blown away by your generosity and can’t thank all of you enough for supporting Aggie in her endeavour to help those in Ukraine. Not only have you supported a worthy cause, you have helped show a little girl that she can make a difference, for which we are very grateful.
The paintings:
Both are painted with acrylic paints on canvas. I used colours from the Ukrainian flag and sunflowers because they are Ukraine’s national flower.
Canvas 1: sunflower on a blue background - based on the Ukrainian flag
Canvas 2: black and white and yellow sunflower - the black and white side represents Ukraine at war
Click ‘view gallery’ on the header image above to see the canvases in more detail.
How to enter the raffle:
£5 per entry
You can enter more than once by donating more than £5 via this JustGiving page.
Raffle will take place on Sunday March 13th at 4pm. There will be two winners, who will each receive one canvas, chosen at random. Each entry with a corresponding name will be given a number and the winning number will be generated via an online number calculator. Winners will be announced via this JustGiving page, and on Aggie’s mum’s Twitter and Instagram (@amiecaitlin). If the winner has not responded by Sunday, March 20th to claim their prize, Aggie holds the right to draw a new winner.
