Story
Welcome to our delightful band of fundraising warriors! We're a diverse group of 17 individuals who've decided to swap our office chairs for a blister-inducing adventure—all for an incredibly noble cause: supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
Now, let's be honest here. We might not be Olympic sprinters, and the last time some of us walked a marathon, it was probably through the entire Netflix catalog. But that won't stop us from putting our best foot forward, literally!
We've been touched by each others stories of individuals and families affected by cancer, and we want to make a difference (hear from some of our team below). Plus, let's be honest, 26 miles is a great excuse to wear absurdly colorful socks and questionable headbands.
So, on 22nd July, prepare yourselves for an awe-inspiring sight: a colourful parade of walking warriors, equipped with determination, snacks, and an excessive amount of plasters. We'll conquer those miles one awkward step at a time, fueled by laughter, support, and the promise of a beer at the finish line.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help! Every donation, big or small, will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, making a genuine impact on the lives of those facing cancer. Together, we can ensure that no one has to face this battle alone, and that even in the darkest moments, a little bit of light and laughter can make all the difference.
So, gather 'round, folks, and support our band of wobbly walkers as we journey towards our fundraising goal. It's going to be a hilarious, heartwarming, and possibly a painful adventure, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Donate now, and join us in making a difference one mile at a time!
