Raising funds to go above and beyond for patients to change the face of cancer.
Story
I'm fundraising for the Cancer Care Appeal to fund a state-of-the-art Paxman Cooling System for the Primrose Unit at Burnley General Teaching Hospital. Hair loss can be one of the most upsetting and traumatic side effects of chemotherapy. It is the most visible sign a person is having treatment for cancer and can affect self-confidence and sense of identity.
I am fundraising to help my local hospital charity go above and beyond for patients facing treatment for cancer - help more cancer patients keep more of their hair while undergoing chemotherapy.

We make a real and lasting difference to healthcare across our hospitals. With the help of our community, we introduce specialist equipment and invest in new technology, create welcoming areas to be shared with everyone and provide those extras that make time in hospital more comfortable for all.
