The end of 2021 wasn’t a joyful festive period… it was little all over the place. me and my family received some awful news, which no one wants to hear no matter what time of the year it is. therefore, in honour of my mum kelly i’m running the London half marathon this year!

My mum has been going through a tough battle since 2015 with cancer, first having cervical cancer and having a successful operation. Then having bladder cancer and again having successful kemo and battled through that, as she does. whereas the third time round, having peritoneal cancer, it was stage 3/4 cancer, was able to treat, with medication alongside, now… it is long term terminal cancer. 

my mum is such a hard working and strong women, she always focuses on other people and not herself! she’s been fighting this battle for a very long time yet still she is smiling and making everyone happy! she deserves the world and more! 

it’s been a hard few weeks and this is why, im wanting to raise money to cancer research, to help other people who are living with cancer, and people who are suffering with any type of cancer, it’s a tough battle!
