On 24th June ten Naas Cycling Club members will attempt to cycle a combined 50,000 m of elevated climbing on our bikes on Sorrell Hill, Co. Wicklow. 

I and three of our group will attempt the Everest Challenge - to climb the equivalent of Mt Everest - 8,848 m . This will take each of us 20 to 24 hours to complete. This worldwide challenge has three conditions - one hill repeated , no time limit and no sleep. To date it has been completed worldwide by 17,101 cyclists.
