5 years ago I cycled 500 miles to raise money for this amazing charity who give so much support to families in crisis.  With so many people being made homeless in the Ukraine, I wanted to do something to help, so I decided to paddleboard from Lechlade to London on the navigable length of the non-tidal River Thames, a total of around 200km.  I set off on Friday 12th August, and hope to arrive at Teddington Lock ten days or so later.  I have raised my fundraising target (again!!!) to £2400 which would be enough for 4 whole shelterboxes each providing shelter and emergency equipment for a family.  I hope that you will join me in supporting Shelterbox in helping Ukraine and other disasters across the world.  Thank you!  Emily (age 15) x
