My name's Amy, I'm a 22 year old student at Plymouth University and started studying Environmental Management and Sustainability September 2018. 

As a keen surfer and diver I am passionate about the ocean and am constantly working on ways that I can help protect it. Previously I have spent 3 months at Marine Conservation Philippines, have set up the Australian online eco surf shop Consurfers Surf Shop and now that I am in Plymouth would like to support Surfers Against Sewage who have been working hard since 1990 to protect the ocean and coastline from all sorts of pollution.

Due to complications (support boat not fixed yet and a knee operation in a couple of weeks) I have had to to change my challenge which was originally to paddle from the Lizard to Plymouth on a Starboard touring SUP. I will now be cleaning up 6 rivers, one a day, on a SUP, to raise awareness of all the plastic entering the ocean. 

These are the dates and the rivers: 20.08 Helford River; 21.08. River Fal; 22.08 River Fowey; 23.08. Looe River; 24.08. River Tamar; 25.08. River Dart.
