As most of you know, in September 2017 I was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme, a very aggressive brain cancer.  Since this diagnosis, I have been through two surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.  This Wednesday I will be starting a groundbreaking treatment called Optune.  In preparation for this, I need to shave my head - and keep it shaved permanently.

brainstrust are supporting my 'A Patient's Journey' workshops, which were designed to better inform newly diagnosed brain tumour patients and their families of the road map ahead, to provide a holistic approach to treatment, and to promote collaboration between charities, healthcare professionals and patients.

I would like to take this opportunity to raise some funds for brainstrust, who have been an incredible source of support to me and my family, as well as to thousands of other people affected by a brain tumour across the UK.
