On Tuesday 16th May 2023, I'm giving up my bed for the night to support local homeless people by sleeping out on the concrete in King Power Stadium. It won't replicate what it really feels like to sleep rough, but by giving up my creature comforts for a night I can make a real difference locally. Please sponsor me!

All funds support YMCA Leicestershire, home to 104 young people aged 16-25 who have experienced trauma, abuse, bereavement, poor mental health or family breakdown. Young people are supported to build resilience and develop skills to move on independently.

YMCA also help street homeless adults by providing breakfast, food parcels, and one-to-one advice to address issues of homelessness and find a place to live.

Since 2010, YMCA Sleep Easy has seen over 7,000 fundraisers sleep rough across the country to raise over £1.5 million for their local YMCA services that assist young people in rebuilding their lives. This is the first in Leicester - let's make it a night to remember!
