PROSTATE1000 - Paris to Monte Carlo

PROSTATE1000 - Paris to Monte Carlo · 26 May 2019
The 3rd, PROSTATE1000 fundraiser is now LIVE…and I am petitioning for your support!
After six months of grueling training, on May 26th, twenty friends will embark on an epic 600mile bike ride while ascending over 26,000 cumulative feet, from Paris to Monte Carlo.
Why? Every 3.2 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer – in 2019, over 1.6 million men worldwide will be diagnosed. (Statistically, over our six-day bike ride alone, an estimated 26,300 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer…..that is over 1 new diagnosis for every foot that we ascend on our bikes.). We’re riding to put the brakes on these statistics – raising money to directly fund researchers who at this very moment, are working in the US and UK to find a cure.

About the 2019 PROSTATE1000 “PARIS to MONTE CARLO” Ride for Research
Founded in 2009 by my friend and team-mate, Gideon Lang-Laddie, PROSTATE1000 has biked from Manhattan to Montauk, from London to Paris, this year from Paris to Monte Carlo, and has built-up countless miles of training along the way. Gideon started the organization after he lost his father, Sir Hugh Laddie, to prostate cancer, and set about helping to fund research into a cure, so that no further lives need be lost.
