Story

The school that Tilly goes to and Addie will start at in September was badly affected by recent flooding in Beeston. Tilly and Addie are doing their longest ever bike ride to raise money to replace much needed resources. The staff at school have been absolutely amazing during COVID, and in dealing with these difficulties on top, so we would love to support our school community by raising as much money as we can. See more info below.

The Friends of John Clifford are calling all JC Superheroes to help us in our Giant JC Superhero Challenge. Our super important mission is to raise as much money as we can to restore the outdoor learning area and to provide new books and games for the classrooms damaged by the flooding.Whats more for every fundraising target that we hit a member of staff will go under an ice bucket and record it for us. Mr Gooch is first up when we hit £250... Mrs Waring needs a bit more persuading so we need to raise lots more!Like many residents and businesses in Beeston, John Clifford School fell victim to the heavy rain on 17th June. The damage was extensive. We know that many of you are keen to help and so we would love to encourage all the JC family to pick a challenge and get sponsored for it.
