On Sunday 12th March 2023, I will be running as part of the The Knaphill Federation of Schools Running Squad in the Surrey Half Marathon 2K fun run.Money raised from sponsorship of this event is used to fund specific health or fitness related projects for the school. This year we are raising money to create sensory/chill out rooms in both schools to aid mental well-being. Sensory rooms are specially designed environments that provide a sensory experience for young people to relax or to go to when they are feeling overwhelmed or in need of a distraction.
